This policy explains how AWAAS Services Private Limited ("AWAAS", "we") handles personal data. It covers two separate things: this website, and the software we supply to property developers.

The short version. This website collects nothing about you unless you email us. Inside our software, the personal data belongs to the builder who uses it — we only hold it on their behalf. And the behaviour data we capture in virtual reality walkthroughs is stripped of identity at the moment it is recorded, and is never shared or combined across builders.

2. This website

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party pixels.
We do not run contact forms. If you write to us by email, we hold your message and address only to reply and to keep a record of our correspondence.
Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as a normal part of serving the font files.

3. Our software: who is responsible for what

When a property developer uses AWAAS, that developer decides what information is collected about its customers and why. In the language of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the developer is the Data Fiduciary and AWAAS is a Data Processor acting on its instructions.

If you are a homebuyer and want your information corrected or removed, please contact the developer you are dealing with. They control that data. We will assist them promptly on request.

4. Virtual reality attention data

During a virtual walkthrough, our system records where a person's view rests inside the model and for how long, room by room. This is measured from the position of the headset. It is not eye tracking, and no camera records the person.

Identity is removed at the point of capture. Attention records are stored against a session reference, never against a name or phone number.
Attention data belonging to one builder is never combined with, or shown to, any other builder.
We use it to improve the product and to help the builder understand what buyers respond to. We do not sell it.

5. Artificial intelligence

Some features use AI to draft messages, summarise conversations and suggest what to say next. These drafts are suggestions for a human to review and send — the software does not message a customer on its own without the builder's staff approving it. Where a third-party AI service is used to process text, we use business arrangements that do not permit that text to be used for training their public models.

6. Keeping data safe

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access is restricted by role, and enforced at the database level rather than only in the app.
Each builder's data sits behind its own barrier, including in joint ventures where two companies share one project.
Sensitive records are append-only, so history cannot be quietly rewritten.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects personal data, we will inform the affected builder without undue delay so they can meet their own obligations.

7. Where data is stored, and for how long

Data is hosted on cloud infrastructure located in India. We keep it for as long as the builder's agreement with us continues, and afterwards only as long as Indian law requires. On request at the end of a contract, we return or delete the builder's data.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, individuals in India may ask for access to their personal data, correction of it, erasure of it, and may nominate someone to act for them. Because AWAAS usually processes data on a builder's behalf, please make such a request to that builder first. If you are unsure who to contact, write to us and we will point you to the right person.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
